Lead Tech Camp 2016

Every year, MSG teaches student worship leaders all about the aspects of technology in worship at the Southern Baptists of Texas Lead Camp. So, from July 26 to 30 we were at the Trinity Pines Conference Center enjoying and informing student worship leaders.

This year, Will Schaefer and Jonathan Graeber taught students about the audio side of tech work. Branden Rowe taught students about using graphics and Pro Presenter.

Charles Roberds worked with students on using lighting in worship, and Lee Miller taught students about video production and video editing.

Lead camp is geared toward high school students. It has two tracks: leadership and worship.

The worship track is designed to provide all the tools and training necessary to plan worship, lead worship, and improve instrumental and leadership abilities. There are three forms of the worship track: worship leadership, worship technology, and worship video and drama.

The leadership track is designed to teach Christian leadership principles, apologetics, personal discipleship, evangelism, and a Christian worldview. Students enacted and applied the skills they learned during the camp.

MSG was proud to serve the students of Lead Camp.
