XL Record Service Names Sara Wallace as Operations Manager

XL Record Service, a Lufkin-based records retrieval firm, has announced Sara Wallace as its new Operations Manager. XL Record Service, an MSGLegal affiliated company, works on behalf of their clients to obtain a variety of records that assist attorneys in building legal cases.

“I’ve worked closely with many clients over the years to ensure their records are complete, in admissible format, and assembled in a format that makes reviewing the records a quick process,” said Wallace. “I also have experience in obtaining all types of records from facilities all over the Unites States in admissible format for both state and federal court.”

Wallace will oversee the day-to-day operations for XL Record Service while also maintaining valuable client relationships. She began her career in record retrieval about 15 years ago as a temp for a record retrieval company and was quickly hired on full time and then promoted to Case Coordinator. As Case Coordinator, she worked directly with the ordering attorneys and paralegals to ensure orders were completed properly. Before accepting a position with Mike Love & Associates in Lufkin, Texas, she was promoted once more to Expediting Department Manager where she managed an entire team that was responsible for ensuring the timely retrieval of all records for ordering firms.

While at Mike Love & Associates as their in-house record retrieval specialist, Wallace retrieved, reviewed, and summarized the medical records as well as performed chronologies of medical treatment for specific cases, detailing the client’s injuries and noting any additional treatment or referrals to capture all potential damages.

“This is where I gained first-hand knowledge of how personal injury cases are worked and what records are needed to prove up damages for these cases. I also learned the rules associated with how records must be proven up in court and understand that the timeliness of obtaining records is often crucial to a case,” said Wallace. “I also understand what the attorneys expect from their records and how they will be used in single event personal injury cases as well as mass tort cases. I am eager to put my expertise to work for our clients and look forward to how we can grow XL Record Service in the future.”
